PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To obtain a rare earth permanent magnet exhibiting excellent magnetic characteristics such as residual magnetic flux and coercive force in which growth of grains can be suppressed in the sintering process and sintering temperature width can be widened.
SOLUTION : The rare earth permanent magnet has a composition of 0-10 wt.% of Tb (excluding 0), 25-35 wt.% of R (R is two kinds or more selected from rare earth elements and contains at least Tb), 0-4 wt.% of Co (excluding 0), 0.5-4.5 wt.% of B, 0.02-0.6 wt.% of one kind or more than one kind selected from Cu and Al, 0.03-0.25 wt.% of Zr, 0.05-0.25 wt.% of Ga, 0.03-0.2 wt.% of O, and the reminder of Fe and inevitable impurities.
