PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a rust inhibiting method by which high corrosion resistance is obtained at a low cost. SOLUTION : A rare-earth magnet is dipped in a coupling soln. admixed with a flake aluminum powder to deposit the powder on the entire surface of the magnet, and the magnet is dried. The aluminum powder-coated magnet is introduced into a barrel contg. a stainless steel bead and a flake aluminum powder to stick the powder to the magnet surface by the striking power of the bead. The rare-earth magnet coated with a metallic film by the barrel treatment is oscillated and cleaned by using city water to remove the excess aluminum powder incompletely deposited, and the cleaned magnet is dried. The magnet thus obtained is dipped in a resin soln., then brought out from the soln., dried and hardened. |
