FIELD : hydrometallurgy; equipment for production of alum earth from the bauxite raw.
SUBSTANCE : the invention is pertaining to the field of hydrometallurgical productions and, in particular, to production of alum earth from bauxite raw. The apparatus for washing and grading of the sand fractions of the mash of the bauxite slime includes : the cylindrical body with the cover and the conical bottom; the stirring device with the drive and the arbor mounted along the axis of the body; the feeding cylinder, the device for feeding and distribution of the washing liquid; the connecting pipes for feeding of the processed mash and the washing liquid and for withdrawal of the washed off sand fractions of the slime. The device for feeding and distribution of the washing liquid is mounted along the axis of the body and made in the form of two shells inserted one into another, rigidly connected to each other in their top part and open from below. At that the internal shell is arranged around of the arbor of the drive with the clearance, and the external shell is connected to the connecting pipes for feeding of the washing liquid, which simultaneously serve as the fastening components of the shell to the body of the apparatus. The technical result is the increased efficiency of flushing of the sand fractions of the mash of the bauxite slime, reduction of consumption of the washing liquid and the power input used for realization of the process.
