PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To highly sensitively detect and monitor fuel damage by a simple facility and operation, and to precisely specify a cell containing a damaged fuel body in a short time.
SOLUTION : This monitor is an off-gas nuclide continuous measuring instrument provided with a nuclide measuring line in an off-gas system 18 of a nuclear reactor, and for detecting an increase of radioactivity, based on a rare gas component flowing out into the off-gas system, and is provided with an adsorption material line 36 filled with an adsorption material 35 for removing a radioactive nuclide acting as a background other than the rare gas component, in an upstream of the nuclide measuring line 34.
