PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an electroluminescent light-emitting element which has high light-emitting brightness.
SOLUTION : The EL light-emitting element 1 has an EL light-emitting layer 13 for emitting light by application of voltage while the EL light-emitting layer 13 contains one or two or more kinds of cations selected from the group of an alkaline metal ion, an alkaline earth metal ion, and a rare earth ion, and a fluoride ion. The composition ratio of the fluorine ion to the cation is larger than 0.5.
