PURPOSE : Provided is a fuel reforming apparatus having a first fuel reforming rib, thereby decreasing a discharge amount of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbon, and nitrogen oxide by reforming light oil.
CONSTITUTION : The fuel reforming apparatus reforms petroleum based liquid fuel. A first fuel reforming rib(2) having a surface layer in a rare earth ceramic layer(21) consisting of titan, silver, and rare earth mineral is inserted into an inner portion of a cylindrical shaped receptacle. The rare earth ceramic layer is fused with a mixing powder which is formed by adding a titanic powder and a silver powder to a powder of the rare earth mineral. The rare earth ceramic layer is formed on an inner wall and surface of the cylindrical shaped receptacle.
