PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light emitting panel capable of achieving the reduction of power consumption, elongation of life, improvement of light distribution characteristics, and reduction of a thickness of the panel.
SOLUTION : In this electroluminescent fiber, a luminous body including rare earth elements as an activator in alkaline earth metal aluminate is coated in the form of a layer between a tube-like core electrode in a center part and a spiral additional electrode in an outer periphery. The electroluminescent fiber 6 is inserted into a groove of a transparent plate 7 such as acryl and is arranged in a reciprocatedly meandering form or a spiral form so that the plate exhibits almost uniform illuminance. LED 9 and a light guide plate 8 are alternately arranged in equal intervals on an end surface of the transparent plate as an auxiliary light source, and one light emitting panel is obtained. The light emitting panels are stacked in the multi-layer form, the emission illuminance is uniformed, and alternately arranged in vertical and lateral directions, and a bright light emitting panel group is formed.
