PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reduce a construction period and costs when an underground exterior wall is required in the demolition of an existing building, in terms of a construction method for an earth-retaining prebuilt soldier beam.
SOLUTION : In this construction method for the earth-retaining prebuilt soldier beam, the underground exterior wall 3 and pressure-resistant slab 4 of the existing building are left behind after the demolition and removal of the existing building; the soldier beam 5 is erected inside the exterior wall 3 by being supported by the exterior wall 3 and the slab 4; horizontal sheathing is horizontally laid between the soldier beams; and a new building is constructed inside the horizontal sheathing between the soldier beams.
