PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an apparatus for treating sludge containing dirt and a method for treating it.
SOLUTION : Sludge from which debris is removed by a debris removal device 100 is charged into a solidification treatment device 500 with a solidifying material by a conveying belt conveyer 200 and a charging belt conveyer 302. The sludge is scraped by a blade 523 of a rotary cylinder 520 which rotates, and mixed with the solidifying material. The dirt is included in the sludge. However, since the blade 523 is a plate member fixed on a cylinder part 521 and has a simple shape, and the height erecting on the inner peripheral face of the cylinder part 521 is not so high, the blade 523 is not damaged by the dirt. The sludge mixed with the solidifying material, and made into a state of earth and sand to be easily loosened is separated into the earth and sand, and the dirt by a dirt separation device 600.
