PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a lubricating agent composition for cold plastic working, exhibiting good lubricating properties and burning resistance even when the composition does not contain a chlorine-based compound and to provide the cold plastic working method using the composition.
SOLUTION : The lubricating agent composition for cold plastic working contains a carbonate of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal such as sodium carbonate and/or calcium carbonate and a hydroxide of an alkali metal and/or an alkaline earth metal in a lubricating base oil such as a mineral oil and does not contain a chlorine-based compound. The lubricating agent composition has ≥10 mass% and 0 pt.mass and ≤5 pts.mass when the content of carbonate of the alkali metal and/or the alkaline earth metal is defined as 100 pts.mass and the composition is liquid or gel-like at normal temperature.
