PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide magnet alloy powder, to provide surface-coated magnet alloy powder capable of improving the corrosion resistance of a bond magnet, to provide a method for producing the same, to provide a resin composition for a bond magnet obtained by using the same and having excellent mechanical strength, and to provide a bond magnet.
SOLUTION : In surface-coated magnet alloy powder, iron based magnet alloy powder containing a rare earth element(s) comprises a composite metal phosphate film (A) composed of the metal phosphate of iron and a rare earth element(s), and a silicate film (B) is formed on the surface thereof. A coupling agent treatment film (C) can be further formed on the surface of the silicate film. Regarding the method for producing surface-coated magnet alloy powder, at the time when iron based magnet alloy crude powder containing a rare earth element(s) is pulverized in an organic solvent, or, after the pulverization, phosphoric acid is added thereto, and stirring is performed, so as to form a composite metal phosphate film (A) on the surface of the magnet alloy powder, next, a solution is separated and removed from the magnet alloy powder slurry, thereafter, alkoxysilicate is mixed therein, the mixture is stirred, and the alkoxysilicate is hydrolyzed, thus a silicate film (B) is formed on the surface of the film (A).
