PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a welded joint in which a low temperature toughness is improved in a welded metal and a welded heat affected zone, obtained by welding a steel plate with a large input-heat welding at ≥100 kJ/cm welding input-heat. SOLUTION : In the welded joint obtained by welding the steel plate with the large input-heat welding at ≥100 kJ/cm welding input-heat, the welding metal for welded joint contains 0.03-0.12 mass% C, 0.10-0.80 mass% Si, 0.80-2.50 mass% Mn, 0.50-3.00 mass% Ni, ≤0.50 mass% Cr, ≤0.50 mass% Mo, 0.01-0.10 mass% Ti, 0.0010-0.0050 mass% rare earth elements and satisfies f(Q)≤[B]≤0.01 (Q is the welded input-heat) to B content [B] and has the composition composed of the balance iron with inevitable impurities.
