PURPOSE : A method for fabricating a thin-type rare earth magnet having a superior magnetic characteristic is provided to obtain the thin-type magnet with a constant thickness by performing the plasma spraying of the earth magnet powder on a substrate of a chamber.
CONSTITUTION : Earth magnet powder having Nd-Fe-B series or Sm-Co series is provided in a centrifugal atomization process. A thin-type magnet having a predetermined thickness is fabricated by performing plasma-spray with respect to the earth magnet powder on a substrate of a chamber. The earth magnet powder has a thickness of 10 to 200 micrometer. Reaction gas generating the plasma includes gas obtained by mixing argon and hydrogen. The thickness of the thin-type rare earth magnet corresponds to 50 to 500 micrometer.
