PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a process for producing a rare earth sintered magnet having excellent fluidity efficiently while enhancing dimensional precision and productivity of a molding without lowering characteristics significantly.
SOLUTION : Primary alloy particles of a rare earth sintered magnet and organic liquid as a granulization assistant are thrown into the chamber 11 of a granulator 10. In the granulator 10, the primary alloy particles are aggregated through the organic liquid by rotating a main rotor 12 provided in the chamber 11 and granules are produced by deaggregating the aggregate by means of an auxiliary rotor 13 provided in the chamber 11. The granules thus produced are thrown into a die cavity and subjected to molding in magnetic field thus producing a molding, which is then sintered to obtain a rare earth sintered magnet.
