PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To reduce alternating short-circuit magnetic flux, to suppress eddy current and to reduce heat generation at an outer peripheral part of a core end plate.
SOLUTION : In the magnet-type generator, the number of poles of a rotor 1 having a rare earth magnet 13 is 4n (n : arbitrary positive integer), and the number of poles of a rotor 2 having a core end plate 23 is 3n. Circumferential direction width C of the outer peripheral part 23c of the core end plate 23 is set to be between a value (=S-1 (mm)), obtained by subtracting 1 mm from a gap S between adjacent magnets 13 or larger and a value (=S+4 (mm)) obtained by adding 4 mm to the gap S.
