PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide fluorescent fine particles capable of being more enriched in kinds of colors and quantity of light than ever, capable of preventing exciting light from having an adverse effect on an analyte caused by ultraviolet rays, etc., when the particles are, for example, used as a fluorescent probe, etc., and capable of stably emitting the light, so as to exhibit enough light-emitting efficiency.
SOLUTION : The fluorescent fine particles contain a rare earth element and conduct upconversion light emission, wherein an emission spectrum of the upconversion light emission has peaks in any regions of a red color region, a green color region, and a blue color region.
