简介 Method of producing a rare earth-transition metal-boron type alloy with a reduced free iron phase content, wherein the transition metal component of the alloy comprises iron, whereby at least one group IVB transition metal, such as zirconium, is added to the alloy mixture during the melting and casting of the alloy. The performance of the alloy produced by the method is further improved by the addition of additional boron to the alloy during the manufacture process. The present invention also provides for the magnetic alloys produced by the above method.
