PURPOSE : A process of preparing an interior and exterior material for constructional building as a non-toxic finishing material is provided to obtain a finishing material for constructional building with excellent weather-proofing and corrosion-resistant properties while little discharging formaldehyde, by mixing together inorganic compound such as pyrophillite, pottery stone and calcium carbonate and acrylic emulsion resin.
CONSTITUTION : The process comprises the steps of : mixing 30-35wt.% of water, 0.6-1wt.% of acid earth, 0.5-0.8wt.% of cellulose thickener, 0.3-0.35wt.% of antiseptics, 0.5-1.5wt.% of titanium dioxide and 0.3-0.7wt.% of sodium polycarboxylate; adding 22-30wt.% of pottery stone, 13-20wt.% of pyrophillite and 19-25wt.% of calcium carbonate to the mixture of the first step; and adding 11-20wt.% of acrylic resin to the mixture of the second step. Each of the pottery stone, pyrophillite and calcium carbonate powder has particle size of 325-400 meshes. The acid earth contains montmorillonite in fine powder form as a major component which includes silicon dioxide, aluminum oxide, iron oxide and magnesium oxide.
