PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To ensure safety accompanying with a high potential of a passage part of a solvent in a device in which a function of a color change valve is integrally built-in in a gun body.
SOLUTION : Five valve units 37 unitized with an opening/closing valve 36 for performing delivery control of a coating and the solvent and an air cylinder 57 for driving it are provided on a manifold 12 at the tip side of the gun body 11. A delivery nozzle 24 for delivering the coating passing form the opening/closing valve 36 through liquid delivery passages 55, 27 and a pin electrode 22 for charging the coating to a high voltage are provided on the tip end of the gun body 11. Five liquid feeding pipes 45 connected to the respective opening/closing valves 36 are provided in the gun body 11, one of them is used for the solvent and the remaining four pipes are used for the coating. A gas feeding passage 42 for feeding insulation air into the fifth liquid feeding pipe 45(E) is provided in an earth-connected base block 16 and check valves 43, 44 electrically connected to the base block 16 are provided on the fifth liquid feeding pipe 45(E) and the gas feeding passage 42 respectively. At working of electrostatic coating, the solvent in the fifth liquid feeding pipe 45(E) is replaced by air.
