PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a purification method of harmful substance-containing polluted soil capable of subjecting washed earth and sand to recycling and capable of being safely and inexpensively adapted to composite polluted soil.
SOLUTION : The purification method of harmful substance-containing polluted soil is constituted so that the harmful substance is removed from polluted soil to separate the polluted soil into washed earth and sand and fine soil particles concentrated in harmful substance to subject washed earth and sand to recycling while recovering fine soil particles and has a process (A-1) for adding water and an additive (1) to the polluted soil to prepare a slurry, a first rinsing process (A-2) for rinsing the slurry to separate fine particles and earth and sand particles (1) while removing the fine particles as suspended water (1) and a process (A-3) for judging the pollution level of the separated earth and sand particles (1). The process (A-3) has a process (B-1) using earth and sand particles (1) as washed earth and sand if the pollution level is a standard value or below and flocculating, separating and concentrating the suspended water (1) removed in the process (A-2) into floc and separated water (1) and a process (B-2) for dehydrating floc to separate the same into fine earth particles and separated water (2).
