PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To significantly reduce the scale of dewatering facilities and also enhance dewatering efficiency.
SOLUTION : A method for treating dredged mud soil first dredges the bottom mud 1 of a sea, a river, a lake or the like by a dredging ship 2 (step 101 in Figure). Next, the mud soil stored in a raw water tank 4 is subjected to dewatering classification treatment with an earth and sand separator 5 including a vibrating screen and a cyclone (step 102). Then, after an amount overflowing the cyclone of the earth and sand separator 5 is once stored in a drainage raw water tank 21, classification treatment is carried out by a screw decanter 6 served as a centrifugal separator (step 103). Thereafter, an amount overflowing in the classification treatment by the screw decanter 6 is settled and separated in a concentration tank 7 (step 104). Subsequently, after the concentrated mud 8 in the concentration tank 7 settled by settling and separation is once stored in a slurry tank 22, the dewatering treatment is carried out by a filter press 9 served as a dewaterer (step 105).
