PURPOSE : Provided are a functional glass using tourmaline and/or rare earth metals, which releases anions consistently without an additional device or electric power, and thus prevents diseases such as sick house syndrome and multiple chemical sensitivity, and a manufacturing method thereof.CONSTITUTION : The anion-emitting glass is manufactured by the steps of : adding tourmaline and/or rare earth metals to a plate glass composition to be mixed; melting the mixture in a melting furnace; cooling the molten mixture; shaping the cooled mixture into a plate glass 30cm wide and 30cm long using a small-sized oil pressure expeller; and cooling the plate glass in an annealing furnace.?
