Device of the invention generates direct and alternating electric currents for mobile units, particularly for mobile homes, ship cranes, yachts, freezer trucks, agricultural machines, whereat said electric currents at a voltage, which is constant at a variable speed of a driving engine (1) and also when the engine (1) does not operate, are provided for such use of an electric equipment, which is not required to drive the mobile unit. An unregulated alternating current generator (4, 5, 6) together with a flywheel (3) of the driving engine (1), which is an internal combustion engine, preferably a piston engine, and is provided to drive the mobile unit, is installed in a flywheel housing (4a) between the driving engine (1) and a gear (7). The generator (4, 5, 6) generates anelectric current of a high frequency, preferably over 400 Hz at the nominal driving engine speed, and at the voltage particularly from 14 V to 360 V. A generator rotor (6) is equipped with permanent magnets, particularly rare-earth magnets. The generator output is connected through a rectifier (10) and a filter (18) provided to smooth the voltage to a DC- DC converter-controller (9) with a constant direct voltage at its output. The DC-DC converter-controller (9) is connected to parallelly interconnected accumulators (11, 12, 13) and an inverter (22) with a transformer (38) having an output at a constant alternating voltage. The device of the invention distinguishes itself in that the electric currents are generated with a voltage, which is constant irrespective of the variable speed of the driving engine (1) and also when the engine (1) does not operate. |
