PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide compact treatment equipment for waste plastics which can treat a large quantity of waste plastics, which suffers little damage by water, and whose cylinder has a special slit for removal of water vapor and has a screw form that is good for removal of water vapor, in order to efficiently dechlorinate waste plastics containing water-absorbing materials, such as earth and sand, and water.
SOLUTION : At at least one position in the middle of a cylinder 4, a slit part 42 is provided which has a plurality of slits 41 that are formed circumferentially apart from the center O of the cylinder 4 and that make the inside communicate with the outside. Water is discharged as vapor via the slits 41.
