The present invention is to provide a fluorescent substance having composition of rare-earth aluminium and gallate with high light emission intensity, and a light emitting device using the same. The fluorescent substance having composition of rare-earth aluminium and gallate comprises : at least one kind of rare earth element Ln selected from a group composed of Y, Gd, La, Lu, Sc, and Sm; at least one kind of group 13 elements selected between Al and Ga; Tb; Ce; and Eu. When the total mole fraction of Al and Ga is 5, the total mole fraction of Ln, Tb, Ce, and Eu is 3; the mole fraction of Tb is a multiplication of 3 and variable a; the mole fraction of Ce is a multiplication of 3 and variable b; the mole fraction of Eu is a multiplication of 3 and variable c; the mole fraction of Ga is a multiplication of 5 and variable d; variable a is 0.25 or more and less than 1; variable b is 0.008× 10^-2 or more and 1.5× 10^-2 or less; variable c is 0.012× 10^-2 or more and 2× 10^-2 or less; and variable d is 0 or more and 0.85 or less.(AA) Relative light emission intensity (%)(BB) Wavelength (nm)(CC) Comparison product 1(DD) Example 1COPYRIGHT KIPO 2019 |
