FIELD : animal farming.
SUBSTANCE : method involves distributing 48 sires in 4 groups (A, B, C, D), each of 12 head; distributing females in 12 groups, 10-15 in each group; inseminating first group females with sperm of first sire 1A, second group females with sperm of second sire 2A, ... twelfth group females with sperm of twelfth sire 12A; leaving one best daughter from each of 10-15 mothers in each of 12 groups for further reproduction; inseminating first generation daughters from first group mothers and father 1A with sperm of sire 2A; inseminating best daughters from second group mothers and father 2A with sperm of sire 3A; inseminating best daughters from twelfth group mothers and father 12A with sperm of sire 1A; providing parent rotation until 6th generation females are produced; inseminating best 6th generation females with sperm of their great-great-great-great-grandfathers (1A, 2A ... 12 A); inseminating best 7th generation females from first group mothers and sire 1A with sperm of sire 1B and best 7th generation females from second group mothers and sire 2A with sperm of sire 2B, and best 7th generation females from 12th group mothers and father 12A with sperm of sire 12B; providing rotation of group B sires similar to that of rotation of group A sires until 13th generation progeny is obtained; inseminating best 13th generation females in each of 12 groups with sperm of great-great-great-great-fathers (1B, 2B, ... 12B); inseminating best females of 14-20 generations with sperm of group C sires according to above pattern; beginning from 21st generation, inseminating best females with sperm of group D sires according to the same pattern; beginning new cycle after 28 generations when the former cycle is closed, with best bulls selected from 7th generation (1An, 2An, ... 12An) being used as sires-successors of microstock of first group A, best bulls produced from 14th generation (1Bn, 2Bn, ... 12Bn) being used as sires-successors of group B sires, best bulls produced from 21st generation (1Cn, 2Cn, ... 12Cn) being used as sires-successors of group B, and best bulls produced from 21st generation (1Dn, 2Dn, ... 12Dn) being used as sires-successors of group D.
EFFECT : increased efficiency by retaining limited stock of rare and disappearing animal kinds without employment of close inbreeding.
