PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an organic-material treatment apparatus using earthworms and an organic-material treatment method using earthworms, capable of highly effectively and efficiently treating a large amount of organic materials such as garbage.
SOLUTION : In the organic-material treatment apparatus, earthworms and organic materials are threw in a case body, wherein in this case body, a treatment part, obtained by stacking, in order from below, the first earth layer having bark compost, the second earth layer supplied with earthworms and the third earth layer having bark compost, are arranged and space parts for throwing organic materials, arranged to range from the first earth layer to the third earth layer, are arranged.
