PURPOSE : A device for supporting a plant which is likely to sprawl as it grows such as tomato, pepper, eggplant or cucumber is provided to more strongly bind and support the plant and thus to prevent the collapse of the supporting device or plant being supported.
CONSTITUTION : The device for supporting a plant comprises : the main stake(1) made of a synthetic resin, metal or wood, which has a pointed end being staked in the earth, and another blunt end(3) for being hammered; recessed parts(4) for tightly fixing a string(8) tied to the plant; half-wedge shaped protruded pieces(6) at the lower part of the main stake for being strongly wedged in the earth; branches(2) being removably installed to the main stake via coupling parts(7) comprised of a groove(7b) and an end part(7a) for being inserted to the groove; protruded pieces(5) for hooking the string tied to the plant for support; end knots(9) for preventing the string from being escaped out of the supporting branches.
