简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a process including no thermal decomposition process of an RE123 phase and requiring no high temperature melting for a long time; and to provide a method for manufacturing a superconductive bulk body having a large size, high performance, and excellent mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION : The method for manufacturing an RE-Ba-Cu-O-based oxide superconductor is characterized by using, as starting materials, an RE-Ba-O-based compound (wherein, RE is one or more kinds of rare earth elements) and a Ba-Cu-O-based liquid-phase raw material, then melting the liquid-phase component, and growing a crystal.
