PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a greening base structure for always keeping the whole of soil in a moist condition with an easy structure using natural rainwater, and enabling a worker to work into soil and stable water absorption even in the case when earth is cultivated and roots extend.
SOLUTION : This greening base structure is typically composed of a pallet 3 composed of a bottom 3a and an outer peripheral wall 3b surrounding the bottom 3a, a three-dimensional structure 7 with the void allowing water and air to flow in and flow out and a sheet 6 having entry preventing function of soil and plant roots and water absorbing function. The open surface of the three-dimensional structure 7 is covered with the sheet 6. The three-dimensional structure 7 is laid in the pallet 3 so that the upper end of the three-dimensional structure 7 is higher than a height allowing water storage of the pallet 3 and at least part of the sheet 6 is lower than a height allowing water storage of the pallet 3.
