PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a stimulable phosphor composed of an alkaline earth metal fluoride halide activated with a rare earth metal and having excellent luminance and aging stability of luminance and provide a radiation image conversion panel.
SOLUTION : The stimulable phosphor contains a stimulable phosphor composed of an alkaline earth metal fluoride halide activated with a rare earth metal and expressed by general formula (1) : Ba1-xM2xFBryI1-y : aM1, bLn, cO as a matrix and has a barium salt different from the matrix and distributed on the surface of the phosphor particle.
