PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a heat-resistant catalyst exhaust gas cleaning and its preparation method in which the cleaning performance is not deteriorated in the lean atmosphere at the temperature of 1, 000 deg.C or higher by controlling the grain growth of the exhaust gas cleaning catalyst particularly at the time of high temperature burning. SOLUTION : In an exhaust gas cleaning catalyst with Pd composite oxide, either a composite oxide in which a Pd composite oxide composed of at least one kind selected out of a rear earth metal or the alkaline earth metal and a composite oxide composed of at least one kind of transition metals are in coexistence with in the solid-dissolved or mixed state is used as a coexisting composite oxide, or a Pd composite oxide is selected out of La4 PdO7 , Ba2 PdO3 and Sr2 PdO3 . |
