PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a method for stably manufacturing a rare earth thin plate magnet having an excellent magnetic characteristic at a low cost.
SOLUTION : A preliminary molded material 1 formed by compress-molding rare earth magnet powder and a tube 2 formed of a ductile metal is prepared (1), after the preliminary molded material 1 is inserted into the tube 2 (2), both ends of the tube 2 are welded and the preliminary molded material 1 is inserted into the tube 2 (3). Thereafter, the tube 2 to which the preliminary molded material 1 is inserted is molded into a thin plate 5 through a plurality of paths with a rolling roll 4 (4), and a magnet body 6 as a product is extracted from the thin plate 5 (5). Moreover, the magnet body 6 is subjected to processing such as bending or the like as required. Otherwise, a metal layer at the surface is peeled from the magnet body 6 to finally provide products through magnetization. |
