PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a lighting unit for a traffic signal whose outer periphery is made smooth, and whose dust is hardly accumulated, and whose dealing is made simple, and whose appearance is made satisfactory.SOLUTION : This lighting unit 10 for a traffic signal is incorporated with a light source unit 20 equipped with a light source 21 and a driving circuit part 22, and set in the primary part of a traffic facility. A front cover body 40 and a rare cover body 50 are united from the front and rear parts so that the light source unit 20 can be housed. The front cover body 40 is provided with a ring hole 41 closely contact to the front outer periphery of the light source unit 20 through which the light source 21 is peeked and an edge part 42 closely contact to the rear cover body 50. The rear cover body 50 is provided with a front rear part 52 at the front part of a box-shaped housing part 51 covering the light source unit 20 from the rear part, and the edge part 42 of the front cover body 40 is provided with a linked protruding part 45 protruding backward. The rear cover body 50 is provided with a receiving recess 55 into which the linked protruding part 45 is fit, and the linked protruding part 45 is fit into the receiving recess 55 so that the front cover body 40 and the rear cover body 50 can be closely connected to each other without forming any protruding part to the outside.COPYRIGHT : (C)2006, JPO&NCIPI |
