PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a wood crusher and a wood processing method capable of preventing wood pieces in a crushing work from dropping to the earth and securing the smooth driving condition of a transfer conveyor.
SOLUTION : The system is provided with a body frame, a crusher 12 which is provided on the body frame and has a crushing rotor 61 rotating and driving in a crushing chamber 60, the transfer conveyor 11 which is provided on one side in the longitudinal direction of the body frame, has a driving wheel 40 and a driven wheel and a carrier wound around these wheel 40 and the driven wheel and transfers the crushed wood to the crusher 12, a bottomed hopper 10 having side wall bodies provided on both sides in the width direction of the conveyor 11 and a bottom wall body 18 provided on the lower side of the conveyor 11, and a guiding member 47 which is provided in the vicinity of the wheel 40 of the conveyor 11 in the body 18 of the hopper 10 and prevents the wood pieces from being held in the vicinity of the wheel 40.
