PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To enable a stable cutting process with less amount of processing allowance without resulting in any damage on a molded body having completed the cutting process.
SOLUTION : On the occasion of molding a raw material alloy metal powder including a rare earth element and cutting the molded body into the predetermined shape, at least single-direction surface of the two-direction surfaces almost crossing at the right angle with the cutting surface of the molded body is compressively supported. For example, the molded body is pressed in the direction almost parallel to the cutting direction. The applied pressure should be set to 1% to 20% of the molding pressure of the molded body. The cutting process should be conducted, for example, through the wire processing. |
