PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a small-sized optical fiber laser which can output a high-level and high-quality laser beam.
SOLUTION : The optical fiber laser comprises a rare-earth doped optical fiber and an excitation light source which inputs excited light beam from one end of the rare-earth doped optical fiber. In the optical fiber laser beam, the rare-earth doped optical fiber operates in a multiple mode with a laser oscillation wavelength, and the optical fiber which operates in a single mode with the laser oscillation wavelength is connected to the laser output side of the rare-earth doped optical fiber. |
