The invention relates to a layer system for metallic parts, especially parts of a gas turbine such as an aircraft engine. Said layer system comprises a heat-insulating layer (13) that is applied to a surface (11) of a part (10) via an adhesive layer (12) that is disposed therebetween. The inventive adhesive layer (12) is embodied as an MCrAlY layer, M being selected among the elements iron, nickel, cobalt, or mixtures thereof. The heat-insulating layer (13) is formed from a material comprising at least one component with at least one phase, which stoichiometrically contains 1 to 80 mole percent of Mx2O3, 0.5 to 80 mole percent of MyO, the rest being Al2O3 with random impurities, wherein Mx is selected among the elements lanthanum and neodymium or mixtures thereof while My is selected among the alkaline earth metals, transition metals, and rare earths or mixtures thereof, preferably among magnesium, zinc, cobalt, manganese, iron, nickel, chromium, europium, samarium, or mixtures thereof. |
