PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To enhance the joining strength and prevent cracks in a joining interface of a joined body made up of a first component at least whose joining surface is made of sapphire and a second component at least whose joining surface is made of sapphire or polycrystalline alumina.
SOLUTION : The joined body comprises : the first component 2 at least whose joining surface is made of sapphire; the second components 4A, 4B at least whose joining surfaces are made of sapphire or polycrystalline alumina; and joining materials 5A, 5B for joining the first component 2 to the second components 4A, 4B. The joining materials 5A, 5B are made of an oxide containing dysprosium, aluminum, and a second rare earth element other than dysprosium, and the ratio of the second rare earth element in the oxide is 2 mol% or more and 10 mol% or less in terms of oxide. |
