PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To prevent breakage of a magnet body when a shaft is press-fitted into the magnet body.
SOLUTION : A rotor 10 is provided with a magnet body 12 that is made by solidifying a rare-earth alloy powder by a binder and is provided with shaft hole 14, and a shaft 20 that is press-fitted into the shaft hole 14 of the magnet body 12 and is fixed thereto. In addition, a coating layer 30 with a required thickness is provided on the inner circumferential surface 16 of the shaft hole 14. When the shaft 20 is subjected to press-fitting, a pressing force given outward in the radial direction by the shaft 20 is absorbed by the deformation of the coating layer 30, permitting press-fitting of the shaft 20. |
