PURPOSE : To provide a method for washing and purifying contaminated earth and sand, wherein the method is capable of continuously removing contaminants according to grain size of contaminated earth and sand by applying a combination of various unit processes to contaminated earth and sand(sorted earth and soil). CONSTITUTION : A method for washing and purifying contaminated earth and sand comprises : a sorting step of sorting the separated contaminated earth and sand based on a predetermined grain diameter after separating contaminated earth and sand from reclaimed wastes; a first washing step of sorting the earth and sand again based on a predetermined grain diameter while primarily washing the sorted contaminated earth and sand; a second washing step of secondly washing the re-sorted contaminated earth and sand; a third washing step of sorting the earth and sand again based on a predetermined grain diameter while thirdly washing the secondly washed contaminated earth and sand; and a step of dewatering sorted earth and sand having a predetermined grain diameter or more, wherein the method further comprises : a step of separating fine soil and washing water from the earth and sand by gravity-settling earth and sand having less than a predetermined grain diameter separated in the third washing step; a step of separating dewatered liquid by centrifugal-separating the separated fine soil; and a step of separating a sludge cake by centrifugal-separating the settled sludge after coagulation-settling the separated dewatered liquid. © KIPO 2006 |
