PURPOSE : Provided is a preparation method of soil-asphalt mixture using foamed asphalt expansion characteristics by mixing soil with foamed asphalt. The resultant soil-asphalt mixture has the improved strength and engineering properties. CONSTITUTION : A soil-asphalt mixture is prepared by the following steps of : forming foamed asphalt; mixing 2-6wt.%(based on the amount of earth) of foamed asphalt, having 70-80% of moisture content based on the moisture content of soil(60-100wt.%), with soil generated from construction areas, wherein 2wt.% of cement is optionally added; and compacting. The foamed asphalt is produced by mixing water, air and asphalt heated to 180-200deg.C, ejected from each nozzle, in an expansion tank, which results in that asphalt is mixed with water in a moment and foams are formed. |
