Signals received from the water pipe (4) are used to form an electrical nosode. This is re-transmitted into the water in the pipe. An Independent claim is included for corresponding treatment equipment. Preferred Features : First and second locations of electrical signal reception and return, are separated by at least 10 cm along (7) the water pipe. An earth connection (13, 14) is made between the two points of contact (2, 3) of the signal reception and return lines. Where the connections are made, coils (5, 6) are wound; alternatively, electrically-conductive surfaces, e.g. foil are employed in an inductive or capacitative mode. The generator or transmitter includes electrical filter(s) preventing interference with household equipment. An amplifier is included, divided into pre- and power amplification sections. An input (11) allows additional electrical signals or frequencies to be added to the output transmitted to the pipe. A frequency memory stores additional predetermined signals, for addition to the outgoing signals. |
