PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a discharge lamp device having a light source device equipped with a reflection face stably emitting light, but preventing generation of ozone or the like, by excitation of rare gas not containing mercury.
SOLUTION : The discharge lamp device comprises an airtight container 10, formed by sealing both end parts of a glass bulb, in which a discharging medium containing rare gas as a main component is sealed, and a first electrode 11 is arranged inside one end part of the airtight container 10. The airtight container 10 is fitted outside square plate-shape insulation holders 20 having a through-hole 21 at one or a plurality of positions. The holder 20 is fitted into a U-shaped groove of a second electrode 12 to keep a distance between the airtight container 10 and the second electrode 12 constant. Protruded parts 23 are formed at the three side faces of the holder 2, and fitting-in holes 15 in which the protruded parts are fitted are formed on the second electrode 12. The holders 20 are made so as not to slip off from the inside of the electrode 12 by fitting the protruded parts 23 into the fitting holes 15. |
