PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide an inorganic oxide powder having a sufficiently superior heat resistance, a precursor of the inorganic oxide powder capable of forming the inorganic oxide powder, a catalyst carrier using the above inorganic oxide powder and a catalyst using the catalyst carrier.
SOLUTION : The inorganic oxide powder of the present invention for solving the above problem comprises Al2O3, a metal oxide which does not form a complex oxide with Al2O3 and a rare-earth element and/or a rare-earth oxide. Not less than 80% of primary particles of the metal oxide have a particle size of not more than 100 nm. |
