PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a mold for shaping glass, in which the adhesion forces between each layer structure are improved, whose service life at a shaping temperature of 700°C is increased to 3, 000-4, 000 times, and with which the number of the preventive maintenance is reduced, and the cost is suppressed.
SOLUTION : The mold for shaping glass is composed of a substrate, a first intermediate layer which is provided on the substrate and made of an Ir-Re alloy containing nickel in such a manner that the concentration of nickel is lowered as coming away from the interface between the substrate and the intermediate layer, a second intermediate layer which is provided on the first intermediate layer and made of an Ir-Re alloy containing a metal selected from the group of Cr, Ta, Ti or a Ti-Cr alloy in such a manner that the concentration of the metal is increased as coming away from the first intermediate layer, and a protective film provided on the second intermediate layer. |
