PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a light emitting device in which the strength of emitted light is high, the directivity of emitted light is high and the strength irregularity and color irregularity of emitted light are extremely rare.
SOLUTION : The light emitting device 1 is provided with a substrate 2 having a mounting part 2a for mounting a light emitting element 4 on the upper surface, a frame body 3 attached to the outer peripheral part of the upper surface of the substrate 2 so as to surround the mounting part 2a, a wiring conductor formed from the mounting part 2a to the outer surface of the substrate 2, the light emitting element 4 mounted on the mounting part 2a and electrically connected to the wiring conductor, and a translucent member 5 formed on the inside of the frame body 3 so as to cover the light emitting element 4 and including a phosphor for converting the wavelength of light emitted from the light emitting element 4. The inner peripheral surface of the frame body 3 consists of a lower side 1st inner peripheral surface 6 and an upper side 2nd inner peripheral surface 8 of which the inclination angles are mutually different, and when it is defined that angles respectively formed between the 1st and 2nd inner peripheral surfaces 6, 8 and the upper surface of the substrate 2 are [!theta!]1 and [!theta!]2, [!theta!]2>[!theta!]1 is formed. |
