PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To provide a breather device capable of preventing oil from flowing reversely at one stroke from an oil reservoir part.
SOLUTION : The breather device 1 is provided with an oil separator 4 connected to an internal combustion engine and an oil retention tank 6 provided below the same. An oil separator 4 includes cyclone separators 41, 41 and a lower end 41b of an oil discharge pipe 413 is connected to an upper wall of a vessel 60 of the oil retention tank 6. A bulkhead 81 including a communication hole H functioning as a restrictor when reverse flow of oil from the oil retention tank 6 occurs by some rare case is installed inside of the vessel. Inside space of the oil retention tank 6 is separated into an upper space zone Sa and a lower space zone Sb. |
