简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve the strength of a molded body without deteriorating the magnetic characteristics of the body. SOLUTION : At the time of manufacturing a sintered rear-earth magnet by sintering fine raw alloy powder containing a rare-earth element, a transition metal element, and boron, the fine raw alloy powder is molded by adding fluorine-containing resin powder to the powder and the molded body is sintered. When, for example, a crushing step and a pulverizing step are performed for crushing and pulverizing a raw alloy, the fluorine-containing resin powder is added after the pulverizing step or crushing step. As the fluorine-containing resin powder, perfluoro-resin powder, particularly, polytetrafluoroethylene powder is ideal. The amount of the fluorine-containing resin powder to be added is adjusted to 0.02-0.15 wt%.
