简介 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED : To improve the strength of a molded body without deteriorating the magnetic characteristics of the body. SOLUTION : At the time of manufacturing a sintered rare-earth magnet by sintering fine raw alloy powder containing a rare-earth element, a transition metal element, and boron; the fine raw alloy powder is molded by simultaneously adding a metallic soap and fatty amide to the powder, and the molded body is sintered. When, for example, a crushing step and a pulverizing step are performed for crushing and pulverizing a raw alloy, the metallic soap and fatty amide are simultaneously added to the raw alloy after the crushing step or pulverizing step. The metallic soap is, for example, zinc stearate powder and the fatty amide is, for example, amide oleate powder. The total amount of the metallic soap and fatty amide to be added is adjusted to 0.08-0.25 wt.%. The compounding ratio of the metallic soap and fatty amide is adjusted so that the mixing ratio of the fatty amide to the metallic soap may become 0.1-10.
